GERMAN NAVAL YARDS KIEL (GNYK) has started the construction of the first integrated Naval Rescue Centre (iMERZ) for the German Navy. On September 25th 2019, the start of the steel cutting ceremony took place at the shipyard in Kiel. The rescue centre will be used as a permanent deckhouse on the “Frankfurt am Main” combat support vessel.

The Schleswig-Holstein shipyard GERMAN NAVAL YARDS KIEL (GNYK) submitted the final offer for the construction of the multi-purpose warship MKS 180 on 18 July. Together with its cooperation partner thyssenkrupp Marine Systems, the company is competing for the largest naval contract in the history of Bundeswehr. GNYK is the only remaining German general contractor in the European competition of the German Ministry of Defense

With the completion of extensive outfitting works, NOBISKRUG’s high-tech and environmentally-conscious 80-metre superyacht ARTEFACT (Project 790) has left the superyacht hall and is now entering the final stage before her delivery this summer season.
Following the partnership with Yacht Club de Monaco (YCM) signed in February, Nobiskrug took part in the sixth edition of the Monaco Solar & Energy Boat Challenge, which took place from 2 to 6 July.
